Kathern "Kathy" Lorlene Woodruff Constantine, born March 21,1963 passed peacefully on August 13, 2025. Kathy is survived by her children, Kristen Constantine, Kellie Constantine (Collyn O'Quin); her mother, Audrey "Sue" McElroy Woodruff; her brother, Michael Woodruff; and the father of her children, George Constantine, Jr. Kathy is preceded in death by her father Winfield "Wimpy" Woodruff; her uncles, Mickey McElroy, Donald McElroy, Sam "Tookie" Woodruff, and Al Woodruff; her Aunt Florina "Puddin'" Woodruff Schroeder; and her grandparents Arthur and Audrey McElroy and Sam and Florina "Flo" Woodruff. She is also survived by many adoring cousins, as well as countless friends who might as well be family (you know who you are). Also her best furry companion, Jojo and her granddogs, Konah and Jett. Kathy attended St. Christopher Grammar School, Archbishop Chapelle High School, and Jefferson Beauty School. She was an avid parishioner at St. Christopher Church. Kathy will always be remembered for her deep, unwavering love for her family-especially her two girls-her endless generosity, and a spirit that lit up every room she walked into. If you knew Kathy, you knew she was someone who would quite literally give you the shirt off of her back. She didn't think twice about helping others, even if it meant giving her last dollar. She gave because she wanted to, because it brought her joy, and because that's just who she was. She had a not-so-secret love for shopping, but the best part for her was never the buying-it was the giving. Birthdays, holidays, or a random weekday-any excuse to spoil her daughters or surprise a friend with something she thought they'd love. Kathy had a gift for making people feel seen and special. But above all else, Kathy was the life of the party. She could turn a regular night into a celebration and make strangers feel like old friends. Whether it was dancing in the kitchen, telling stories that had everyone laughing, or just bringing her out of this world energy into the room-being around Kathy meant you were going to have a good time. She was one of a kind, and her presence will be missed more than words can say. In lieu of flowers donations in honor of Kathern L. Woodruff Constantine can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. www.stjude.org Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Service at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home on Saturday August 23, 2025. Visitation from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
