Kathleen A. Coulter, a beacon of loving kindness and wisdom, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025, at the age of 82. Kathy was born on January 23, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York to James and Tessie McFaul. On November 28, 1964, she married the love of her life, Jimmy Coulter, at St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. They moved to Lake Carmel in 1972 where they settled and raised their 3 daughters.
Kathleen's legacy is cherished by her devoted daughters, Kathy and her husband Jim, Colleen and her husband Steve, and Maureen and her husband Adam. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Ryan, Kristina, James, Heather, Danielle and Maddie and great-grandmother to Sophie.
For many years, Kathleen dedicated her life to the service of others as a teacher's assistant in the special education program at Carmel High School. Her natural ability to connect with her students and her unwavering patience made her an invaluable asset to the school. She was not just an educator but also a mentor and a friend to those whose lives she touched, fostering an environment where every child felt valued and included.
As we bid farewell to Kathleen A. Coulter, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a legacy that will continue to inspire. Her memory will be treasured forever in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A private cremation will take place.
