Keegan Patrick Reed

REED, Keegan Patrick. September 25, 2022. Age 18. Beloved son of Patrick (Rosa) and Heidi (Jimmy Schneider) von Oetinger-Reed. Loving brother of Salena and Jessica. Treasured grandson of the late Patsy Anne (Pringle) von Oetinger and Helmut "Opa" von Oetinger and Noelle and the late John Reed. Treasured grandson of Arlette "Grandmere" Schneider. Adored grandson of bonus grandmother Renee P. Bush. He will be loved and remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his three loyal retrievers and his feline "Jaws."
Keegan was a spirited, humorous, loving, sincere, extremely protective, and loyal young man with many dreams of becoming an entrepreneur within the exotic and modified car industry. He was employed at J-Russ Inc. throughout his senior year of high school up until now. He took extreme pride in modifying his many cars.
Keegan is a recent graduate of Dakota High School where he was a talented athlete. He began playing sports as soon as he was walking and always had a ball in his hand, from a soccer ball, basketball, baseball, to a football. He loved his teammates, and they meant the world to him. Even though he was a gifted athlete he would play that down in a humble manner. Because teamwork is about the team first. He held his teammates and friends as true beloved family.
For Keegan, the most important thing in his life was the relationships that he built with people and that his numerous brothers and sisters were not from his own blood but made from the heart. Keegan truly loved and respected his "brothers."
Visitation Saturday, October 1st, 2022, from 5-9pm and Sunday, October 2nd, 2022, from 1-9pm at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. (Shelby Township) 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. Funeral Monday, October 3rd, 2022, Instate from 9:30am until time of 10am Mass at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 54045 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Township, MI 48315 (Between 24 & 25 Mile Rd.).
