I was hearing "American Pie" at work a few weeks back, and I recalled that Keith had "Music Saves The Mortal Soul" in Spanish on his back. He Joined KFJC back in the late '90s. Keith had a joy for life, and he was proud that he was of Dutch and Indonesian descent. One year at KFJC, he filled in on May 1st, and played all kinds of music for working folks. Last week, the station aired a reggae show that he'd done under his radio name Calving G. Krebs as a memorial tribute. Keith gave me a youthful perspective on music, politics, world affairs, and culture. His trips to Holland and The Phillipine Islands affected him profoundly. The last time I saw him was earlier this year. He'd been happy to be working the 49er games at Levi stadium. He will be missed, and he and his family will always be in my prayers. He was a good friend, and brother-in-arms. I'd like to think that he's with his late little brother and all those he had loved. May God rest his soul, and give his family and friends comfort in their time of sadness.
