Kimberly Sue Baer, 63 of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 25, 2024 at The Ohio State East Hospital in Columbus.
Born March 27, 1960 in Dearborn County, Indiana, the oldest of 4 children to Robert H. & Nancy Carol (Montavon) Baer. Kim graduated from Morris Knolls High School in Rockaway, NJ. She earned her Associates Degree from Montclair State University. She worked for Winnsupply as their office manager for 25 years.
Kim is survived by her mother Nancy Baer; life-long significant other Blaine Waderker; sister Gail (Mark) Jackson; brother Michael (Tereza) Baer; nieces and nephews Caitlin Baer, Travis (Sarah) Jackson, Amanda (Breanna Steele) Jackson, Anthony Baer and Mia Baer.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert Baer and sister Tina Baer.
Kim was amazing at cross-stitch, she enjoyed photography, and even dressed up as Mrs. Claus during the holidays and worked at the Columbus Zoo as well as the Westerville Train Station. Not having any children of her own, Kim's nieces and nephews were everything to her, she was there from their births, till graduations, and everything in between. Kim will be remembered by those close to her as the kind, caring, and sometimes stubborn individual that she was.
Friends may join the family on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware, Ohio 43015, where funeral services celebrating Kim's life will be held at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Ashley Union Cemetery, Ashley Ohio.
