Kristen Wienczkowski

Kristen Wienczkowski, age 63, of Erie, died on Monday, March 28, 2022.

She was born in Erie, PA on August 23, 1958 the daughter of the late Melvin and Yvonne Christensen Johnson.

She attended Erie Day School. She was a member of McLane Church. She enjoyed reading particularly the Bible. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. She loved gardening, puzzles, Scrabble and her house plants. She even attempted to play video games.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Wienczkowski in 2014; a sister Mildred Kitts and two brothers David Johnson and Terry.

She is survived by a daughter Carina Hubbell (Ricky) of Edinboro; three sons George Reitz of Erie; Michael Wienczkowski of Springboro and Dustin Wienczkowski (Megan) of Edinboro; one sister Lisa Talkish (Ernie) of Ennis, Montana; nine grandchildren Tyler, Noah, Nicholas, Mitchell, Jordyn, Dominic, Tristen, Teddy and Keira. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26th Street on Friday, April 1 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm and are invited to attend funeral services there on Saturday April 2, at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
