Kristie Jane Scruggs, born on October 18, 1959, in Vance, Mississippi, passed away on December 8, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Known for her vibrant personality, Kristie was a firecracker who fiercely loved her family and created cherished memories that will be held close to the hearts of many.
Kristie was a hard worker who dedicated herself to her career as a valued employee at Bumper to Bumper, where she worked tirelessly for the auto parts industry. Her coworkers held deep admiration for her, recalling her as a kind and uplifting presence who could always bring a smile to the day. She was known for her ability to quote scripture with ease, demonstrating a profound knowledge of the Bible, which reflected her strong faith and character.
Kristie also cultivated a reputation for giving her friends and family amusing nicknames that brought joy and laughter to her relationships, showcasing her playful spirit and the love she had for those around her.
Kristie's connection with her family was paramount in her life. She is survived by her son, Jacob Scruggs; her mother, Jane (Clarence) Wilson; her brother, Rickey Robinson; her sister-in-law, Gale Scruggs; and her stepmother Camilla Robinson. Each of them treasured their time with Kristie and will remember the warmth and enthusiasm she brought into their lives.
Kristie is preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Scruggs; her son, Douglas L. Scruggs; and her father, Dewey Robinson. Their memories will remain a part of her story as she joins them in eternal peace.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff of The Blossoms for their exceptional care of Kristie, who came to know and love her deeply.
While Kristie Jane Scruggs leaves behind a profound sense of loss for those who knew her, she will forever live on in their hearts through the countless memories, lessons, and love she imparted.
