Krystal was born in Cambridge, June 14, 2006, a daughter of Joseph E. Mello and Laura M. Russo and resided in Waltham before moving to Ayer four years ago. In addition to her parents of Ayer, she leaves her sister, Ashley M. Carter of Ayer; her brother, Jason M. Paris of Derry, NH; her nephew, Mark Cummings of Ayer; her stepfather, Christopher McDonald of Ayer and her uncle, Richard Russo of Malden; her cousins, Aaliyah Kirby of New Bedford, Danny Thibert of Malden and her great aunt, Emily Thibert of Malden.
Krystal was a member of the Junior Class at Ayer Shirley Regional High School where she was a member of the cheerleading squad. She was an accomplished painter of acrylics, enjoyed spending time with her friends and her cat, Blue and collecting Jordan Sneakers.
Krystal's family will receive family and friends at calling hours 4-7 PM Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, (Rte 2A) Ayer. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, October 21st in the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Hello my Name is Aaliyah kirby
And my favorite memory with krystal was when she came to my 6th birthday and when the party ended i wanted her to sleep over but Auntie said no. So i cried and beged auntie for krystal to stay. And she said tomorrow so i said yay!!. One day me krystal and bella went to a resturant and we got food and that put a smile on my face that day. When we go to the mall i sit in the same spot when i go there. One time when i was at the park down wherey house was and these bullys were there so i was playing right and one of them pushed me for no reason and i cried to krystal. And she said what happend and i said one of them pushed me and.i pointed out to that person and she said.if u push her again i will break ur nose! So i said.thankyou krystal! And she hugged me.
