Kurt Patrick Rostetter

Kurt Patrick Rostetter, age 77, of Peoria Heights, passed away at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at OSF Richard l. Owens Hospice Home.
He was born in Peoria on March 14, 1948, a son to Carl D. and Marguerite (Rochford) Rostetter. Kurt was a graduate of St. Thomas the Apostle Grade School, Bergan High School and Bradley University. He had a 33-year career testing hydraulic equipment and developing contamination control practices at Caterpillar's Technical Center.
Survivors include one sister Kathleen (Don) Elledge of Washington, IL; one brother Kevin (Renee) Rostetter of Brimfield; one niece Kelly (Kevin) Juskiv; and three nephews: Shannon (Abbey) Rostetter, Brian (Jenna) Nehl and Todd Nehl.
Kurt was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 9:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Msgr. Jason Gray will officiate, and committal services will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Brimfield at 2:30 PM.
Kurt wanted to thank the clergy and staff of St. Thomas Parish in Peoria Heights for the fine education and spiritual guidance they provided throughout his life.
Preferred memorials in Kurt's memory may be made to the St. Thomas Parish Education Fund.
