Larry Hugh Larmore, 89, of Salisbury, MD, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Anchorage Nursing Home in Salisbury, MD. Born in Salisbury, MD, he was the son of the late Everet Hugh and Elouise (Nelson) Larmore.
He graduated from Wicomico High School with the class of 1953 and then went on to join the United States Army, where he received the National Defense Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Once he returned home from service, he attended Delaware Technical and Community College and received his Associate s Degree and then became a tax consultant at E. Hugh Larmore and Son.
He was a member of Elks Lodge 817, American Legion Post 64, and the Power Squadron, all of Salisbury, MD. He loved sailing and had his federal Captain s license.
He is survived by his children; Brenda Cook (Scott), Lisa Larmore, and Daniel Larmore, his sister; Kessey Larmore Smith, niece; Leslie Eloise Hickok (Peter) and nephew; Major Clifford Smith (Zhanna), as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children; Judith Ann Larmore and Michael Ambrose Larmore.
A graveside service will be held at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury, MD, at 1pm, on Friday, September 9, 2022.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.
