Laurie O'Neill Obituary
Laurie was a beacon of light in the lives of those around her, known for her warm smile and nurturing spirit. She enjoyed staying active, taking pleasure in exercise, cooking, and, dancing. Laurie had a special talent for making the best meatloaf. Her vibrant social life reflected her loving nature, as she cherished every moment spent with family and friends.
Laurie's most profound role was that of a devoted mother to her daughter, Brooke O'Neill. The bond they shared was evident to all who knew them, and Laurie's love for Brooke was limitless. She is also survived by her sisters, Stephanie Mitchell (Thomas) and Diana Hendrickson (Michael), who will forever hold her in their hearts. Laurie was a devoted aunt to Michelle, Erik, Zach, Brandon, and Meghan. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Robert and Janis Aufdenberg.
Laurie will be remembered not only for her professional accomplishments and her role as a caregiver but also for her joyful spirit and the love she spread to all who crossed her path. Her family saw that same level of care and professionalism from the staff of The Avenue of North Ridgeville and Hospice of the Western Reserve, they are so thankful for the tenderness and compassion given to Laurie. Future funeral services and ceremonies will be held to honor Laurie's life, and details will be shared with family and friends.
