Lawrence William "Larry" Walker, 73 of Rosedale Road, Morehead, Kentucky passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, at UK-St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead after a brief illness.
He was born February 29, 1952, in Washington D.C. to the late Robert Kenneth Walker and Edna Ruth Kidd Walker.
Larry was a United States Navy Veteran and enjoyed all types of sports and fishing. He loved music and had several favorite bands and singers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Walker, one brother David Walker.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Dzurek Walker of Morehead, one daughter, Christine (Scott) Wittwer of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. One sister, Nancy Jaskot of Morehead and one brother, John (Jenny) Walker of Morehead. Five grandchildren: Ian Walker, Brady Walker, Matteo Wittwer, Everett Wittwer and Ty Wittwer. A brother-in-law, Daniel J. Dzurek of Morehead. Also, several nieces and nephews.
Larry also leaves behind his faithful companion, his dog "Zappa".
At his request there will be no funeral services or visitation. The family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
