SAVANNAH Lee Nunn Bledsoe, formerly of Perry, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, South Carolina, following a battle with prostate cancer. He was 62. A Visitation will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry to honor Lee s memory. In lieu of flowers or other memorials, the family respectfully requests that donations be made online to the classical music station KUSC in southern California, in Lee s remembrance.
Lee was born in Perry, Georgia, on December 25, 1959, and was the youngest son of the late Daniel Lewis Bledsoe and the late Bess Houser Nunn Bledsoe. His grandparents were the late George Chappell Nunn and the late Bessie Houser Nunn, and the late Daniel Dan Webster Bledsoe and the late Lillian Adair Bledsoe, all of Perry. He was a 1978 graduate of The Westfield School in Perry, and in his Senior year was class President and Salutatorian. Lee attended Georgia Tech to study architecture, and he graduated from Georgia State University with Honors and a degree in Business in 1982. Lee remained in Atlanta after graduation following a stint with Macy s in Augusta. He was active in Atlanta volunteer organizations, and was a reader for the blind on Georgia Public Radio for many years. Lee was a member of the Atlanta Preservation Center, and he was a board member of the APC volunteer organization Circa, playing an integral role in conducting, teaching, and developing the still active walking tour program for the City of Atlanta. He was a co-founder in 1989 of the successful Atlanta catering company "Social Graces", whose clients included Georgia State and the Atlanta Opera. Lee later sold his interest in "Social Graces" and joined the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company as Special Events Catering Manager at the downtown Atlanta property. In 1994, Lee won a position transfer as Conference Services Director to the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, California, and he then relocated to Laguna Beach in southern California. After a number of years with the Ritz-Carlton, Lee took a similar position with the Waldorf-Astoria La Quinta Resort in La Quinta, California, and he purchased a home in Palm Springs, California, at that time, where he lived for many years.
After leaving the hospitality industry, Lee became a pharmaceutical representative for Glaxo-Smith-Kline corporation, and he later took a position with Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs as a Doctor-Hospital Liaison. Lee took an early retirement in 2014 to travel the world. And he did just that: Rome, Venice, Milan, the Italian lake country, the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Paris, the south of France, Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Mallorca, Greece, London, Hawaii, the South Pacific, Australia, and as well, extensive travel within the United States. Lee eventually settled in Savannah, and he more recently earned his Georgia Realtor license in 2020.
Lee is survived by his brothers, Bradley W. Brad Bledsoe of Anderson, South Carolina, and Robert Adair Bob Bledsoe, of Perry. He is further survived by his nephew, Daniel Bledsoe and wife, Emily, of Athens, and their daughter, his great-niece, Willow; and his nephew, Cole Bledsoe and fianc e, Amber Henderson, of Santa Rosa, California.
With his wit, intelligence, and love of a good time, Lee made friends wherever he went.
Some of his long-term friends include Joe Austin of Dallas, Texas; Timothy Pettus of Atlanta; Ken Coleman of Perry; and Kathy Reyes and Laura Orfield of Palm Springs. Lee was a lover of all music, but particularly enjoyed classical music. Please make any donations online at kusc.org or by phone at 800-421-1717, and designate gift in memory of Lee Nunn Bledsoe.
Sullivan-King Mortuary in Anderson, South Carolina, handled the cremation services. Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements in Lee s hometown of Perry.

Dear Brad and Bob,
I'm thinking of you both at this sad time. Lee was one of the brightest and most interesting people I've ever known, and I'll always cherish my memories of him. When I think of Perry, he's one of the first people who comes to my mind. In fact, he was probably my first friend, as our mothers got us together for play dates when we were just toddlers.
I'm so glad Lee was part of my life. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Fran
