Durham – Linda Beasley Morris, 57, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at Duke University Hospital. She was born in Durham to her surviving parents, James E. Beasley and Joyce Moore-Hall (Roger).
In addition to her parents, Linda is survived by her husband, Kevin C. Morris; sons, Troy Lawrence and Colton Lawrence (Emma); her grandson, Beckham Lawrence. She is also survived by her sisters, Jamie Beasley, Carol Beasley; niece, Keyra Cowan; stepson, Jesse Morris (Samantha); stepdaughter, Sarah Dickerson (Will) and grandson, Liam Dickerson; and many friends that became like family. Linda is preceded in death by her brother, (Jimmy) James E. Beasley II and nephew, Derek Bowden.
Linda was a graduate of Northern High School. She was also a Phi Mu alumna at University of North Carolina at Greensboro, with a major in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing. Linda was a member at New Bethel United Methodist Church in Rougemont, NC. Linda was employed by Fathom Realty, as well as Housing Solutions in Hillsborough, NC. In her spare time Linda enjoyed working in her raised gardens, volunteering at various holiday events in the community, walks on the beach, and hiking in the mountains to see waterfalls. Linda also enjoyed entertaining friends and spending time with her loved ones.
The family will receive friends between 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 14th at Clements Funeral Chapel in Durham. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to SPCA of the Triad, PO Box 15117, Winston Salem, NC 27111.
