Lisa Yvette Ducksworth, age 66, passed away on January 15, 2025. Lisa was born in Canton, Ohio on May 2, 1958.
Lisa was a very outgoing and blunt person. After graduating from McKinley High School in 1976, she was employed by the Hoover Company and worked as a house cleaner for a number of families in Canton.
Baptized at an early age at Shiloh Baptist Church, by the late Rev. J. S. Sanders, where she was an usher and she sang in the choir. Lisa was very attentive to the senior citizens of the church.
Preceded in death by both parents, Ben and Velma Ducksworth; and brothers, Milton and Darryl.
To cherish her memories, she leaves to mourn her passing, son, Julian; daughter, Talisa (Joe Robinson); grandchildren, Donnie, Ja'layah, Janai; brother, Gregory Newell; sisters, Debra, Vanessa; nieces, Kim, Vanessa Ducksworth; nephews, Milton Jr. "DJ", Gary, Jeremy, Adrian; great nieces, Chontrelle, Amari, Keisha; great nephews, Drakie, Milton III, Ayron; great-great nieces, Renee, Ariah, Jeremy Jr., London; great-great nephews, Dallas, Denver, D'amour; special extended family, Ms. Anna Marshall and family; and special friends, Ms. Gladys Bently, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bradley, Ms. Joyce Harpor, Mr. and Mrs. George McPherson; and Mr. and Mrs. Kevin and Tonya Elliot.
Services will be private for immediate friends and family.
