Lori Ann Smith-Linder

Lori Smith-Linder was born February 3, 1969. She graduated from Brown County High School in 1987. She later graduated from Alexandria School of Scientific Therapeutics. This led to her certification and successful career as a licensed massage therapist. She worked in Louisville, Nashville, French Lick, and Bloomington. On June 8, 2005, she married Eric Linder. Together they established Tranquil Vibe Day Spa in Bloomington, IN, on April 15, 2013. They grew their business and led a team of warm, dedicated employees they thought of as family. Building on the Day Spa's continued success, Lori and Eric established a second business this June, Easy Clean Laundry Service in Ellettsville.
Lori was known for her creativity and commitment to supporting those around her. From fine arts and crafts to holiday baking, she embellished the world around her, adding something special to daily life. She was happy to share this gift with others, especially the kids in her life. Lori also consistently contributed to her community, donating year after year to several local causes.
She was preceded in death by father Lee Smith, father Jack Leonard, and brother Steve Leonard. She is survived by husband Eric Linder of Ellettsville, IN; sons Dominique and Donovan Linder of St. Paul, MN; mother Betty Leonard of Bloomington, IN; brothers Neil Smith of Bloomington, IN, Tracy (Dawn) Smith of McKinney, TX, and Haskell Smith of Bloomington, IN; nieces Anna (Dustin) Johnson of Morgantown, KY, Stori and Sierra Smith of Sequim, WA.
Lori will be remembered for laughter that filled the room, love for her adorable dogs, leadership in business, and loyalty to everyone lucky enough to know her.
