Lorraine S. Perrault, 57, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of Matthew Brian Perrault for 27 years. Born October 10, 1966 in Hartford; the daughter of the late Wayland and Patricia (Webb) Stickney.
Lorraine took her health seriously and always enjoyed walking. She loved clowns and spending time with her grandchildren. She always said, "no favorite color just loved all the colors of the rainbow."
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Jeremy Mergendahl and wife Brittany Beyus of Torrington, Luci Lamoureux and husband Sean Dennis of Torrington and Sylvia Perrault and husband Mathew Dunn of Bristol; 7 grandchildren, September Rayne Kovarovics, Chrysanthemum Violet Kovarovics, Tucker Atlas Dennis, Gavin Dennis, Dominic Stewart, Colton L. W. Mergendahl and Isabella R. Mergendahl; and a brother, Wayne Stickney and wife Christina of Goshen. She was predeceased by four siblings.
Friends may call on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted from 5 – 7 PM. Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Forest View Cemetery, Winsted at 10 AM. Visit an online guestbook at montano-shea.com.

It makes me so sad to hear about Lorraine. The times that she and I interacted were always about her children, and she was nothing but amazing. Lorraine was supportive, encouraging and had high expectations of them throughout their school years. She was a wonderful parent who raised strong and caring young adults. This was a reflection of what was important to her throughout her life....her family. Truly a blessing that they will carry throughout their own lives.
