Malcolm Dougherty

Malcolm J Dougherty died on November 9, 2024. He leaves his wife Janice of 55 years, his daughter Jennifer, his son Matthew and his wife Cynthia, grandchildren, Samatha, Jocelyn, and Michael. He was a native of Quincy and lived in Needham, Falmouth, and Venice, Fl. He graduated from Nasson College with a BA in economics and Babson College with an MBA in Finance. His passions were his family, sailing, skiing, biking, reading and the American economy. In Venice he was chairman of the board of his condo association which he enjoyed. He took several trips up and down the New England coast in his Island Packet Windfall. For a career, he was a computer programmer with most of the time spent as an independent contractor. He had a small business with several employees under the name of MJD Software and Windfall Consulting. Arrangements will be private.
