Marci Anna Phelps, 48, of Hagerstown, passed away, Sunday, August 17, 2025.
Born February 8, 1977, in Silver Spring, Md., she was the daughter of the late, Richard and Jean (Van Zile) Lease. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 22 years, Christopher W. "Chris" Phelps.
Marci was full of love, energy, and joy- and those who knew her will always remember the way she lit up a room with her big, beautiful smile. Her children and family were at the very center of her heart, finding her greatest happiness in time spent with them. In addition to her devotion to family, Marci was a woman of unwavering faith. She found joy in worship, strength in scripture, and peace in trusting God's plan.Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at rest, reunited with loved ones, and in the presence of her Savior.
She is survived by four children, Ian Phelps, Maddie Phelps, Ella Phelps and Nate Phelps; two sisters, Megan Lease, and Alison Fisher and husband, Michael; one brother, Matthew Lease and wife, Sarah; in laws, Sharon and William Phelps and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
