Marcia K. Stortini, 91, of Poughkeepsie, New York, passed away peacefully at her home on September 6, 2025.
Born on July 23, 1934, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late Robert Knox and Jean Ross. Marcia was a lifelong resident of the area and a proud graduate of Poughkeepsie High School.
A devoted homemaker, Marcia dedicated her life to her family, finding joy and purpose in caring for her home and loved ones. She was married to the late Ralph Stortini, with whom she shared many years of love and devotion.
Marcia is survived by her children, Tracy Swartz and her husband Bill, Steven Dewey and his wife Jan, Alison Smidt, and Lisa Stortini and her husband Rob; and her step-daughter, Stephanie Decker. She was predeceased by her daughters, Robin Kilmer and Melissa Dyal.
She will be lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, whose lives were deeply enriched by her presence. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Marcia K Stortini, please visit our Tree Store.
