Margaret Elizabeth Foster was born on February 13th, in Columbia, Tennessee. She was the daughter to the late Dave Othello Foster and Nolan Katherine Foster.
Margaret was educated through the Nashville Public School System and graduated from Pearl High School. She continued her education earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Tennessee State University and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Butler University.
After graduating from Tennessee State University, Margaret moved to Indianapolis, Indiana to begin her teaching career. She was a dedicated and well respected educator. She retired from the Indianapolis Public School System after 30 plus years of service.
Margaret was formerly married to the late John R. Eubank. From this union they were blessed with four loving daughters.
Margaret was very spiritual and loved God. She was baptized at an early age at Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a member of Common Ground Christian Church and was also a long time member of Covenant Community Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Margaret was a beloved daughter, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She loved writing poetry, dogs, volunteering at nursing homes, listening to music, traveling, working in her yard, playing bingo, and watching soap operas and old western shows. She dearly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Carolyn Elizabeth Eubank, sisters Anna L. Foster Etter, Hazel Perry and niece Nolan Lavon Foster. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters; Angela (Vincent) Henderson, Granger, IN, Cathy Bolling, and Tracye (Cedric) Coleman, Brownsburg, IN, granddaughter, Danielle Bolling (James) Lewis, Nashville, TN, grandsons; Steven (Melissa) Henderson, Granger, IN, Brendon (Heather) Henderson, Saint Petersburg, FL, David Christopher Bolling, Tai Coleman, Brownsburg, IN, great granddaughter Zhuri Henderson, Granger, IN, sister Clara Hendricks, Nashville, TN, nephews; Keith Allison, Louisville, KY, Taran (Marchelle) Perry, Goodlettsville, TN, niece, Renee Pratt, Nashville, TN, great nieces; Tierra Perry, Dallas, TX and Amber Perry, Nashville, TN, brother-in-law William Perry, Nashville, TN, and a host of cousins and friends.
Margaret peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024.
