Margaret C. Marsh, 88, passed away Friday June 2, at Madonna Towers in Rochester, MN from
pneumonia. Margaret was born October 27,1934 in Manville, New Jersey to John Raymond
and Dorothy Mary Heitz. She graduated from St. Cecelia Catholic High School in Englewood,
NJ in 1952 and went on to Lenox Hill Hospital School of Nursing in New York, New York

Ronald H. Marsh, the love of her life, on June 2, 1956, Palisades Park, NJ. In 1967, she moved
with Ron and their family from Oakland, NJ to upstate NY where Ron joined his father in a
family electrical business. Ron and Peg designed and built the family home in Laurens, New

obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, allowing her to also working as a school nurse.
After retiring from nursing, she continued to work as an associate real estate broker at Benson
Real Estate Agency and later Manor Homes Real Estate.
In the 1970s, Peg and her husband Ron, started the Laurens Ambulance Squad with two other
founding members to meet the emergency medical needs of the community. She served
devotedly for many years in all aspects of the squad as a certified emergency medical
technician even answering emergency calls from her home phone prior to installation of 911.
Peg was a devoted member of the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Oneonta, NY.
Peg enjoyed gardening, traveling, baking, knitting and crocheting, taking family camping trips,
and spending time with their beloved cocker spaniels and other pets. She especially adored
Harry, her dog and Petey, her cat. She was a member of the Sertoma Club. Peg was an avid
supporter of the Delaware County Humane Society. She loved bird watching with her husband
Ron, especially the hummingbirds, chickadees, and cardinals.
She became a real estate agent as she realized the importance of families having a home of
their own. Peg was known in the community for her generosity and kindness to others. She
frequently made baby blankets, donating them to the local church for those in need.
Most of all, she loved her family, especially her husband Ron of 67 years. She is survived by
her four children, three daughters, Maureen Musselman, (Roy), Jacqueline Marsh, Caroline
Haag-Marsh, (Barbara), and son, Steven Marsh, (Karen). She treasured every one of her 10
grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald, her
