Marie Christine O'Conner, 87, of Wheeling, WV, died Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Liza's Place.
She was born February 6, 1938, in Youngstown, OH, daughter of the late May O'Conner.
Marie was a strong-minded, family oriented woman who loved to cook and take care of her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her lifelong companion, Carl Sansone, Jr.; a son, James Robert O'Conner; two daughters, Connie Booth and Debra Goddard; granddaughters, Shannon Goddard and Tonia Leyand; grandson, Roy Bourne; and two brothers, Eddie and Ernie O'Conner.
She is survived by two sons, Danny Booth and Wayne (Kay Nolan) Booth; granddaughter, Christine (Derek Coles) McAnany; grandsons, Jesse (Robyn) Powell and David Blanco; great-grandsons, Mark (Ashley) Powell, Matthew (Lauren) Powell, Austin McAnany, Bryce McAnany and Jesse (Sarah) Allen; great-granddaughters, Cheyanne Donley, Abigail (Brady) Pritt and Maddison Powell; great-great-grandaughters, Kimberly, Alexis and Sabrina Leyland; great-great-grandsons, Donovan Goddard, Dorian Smelley and Isaiah Smelley; great-great-great-grandchildren, Jaylan and Levi Donley, Serenity Powell, Brantley, Chase and Delilah Bourne and Knox, Luna, and Lola Leyland; and several nieces and nephews and other great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 11 AM until the time of service at 1 PM at Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave., Wheeling (304-277-2722).
Interment in Park View Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family.
