He was predeceased by his beloved wife of over 60 years, Emily, and his siblings Oscar (Anna), Gloria Liuzzi (Mike), and Elio (Janet). Mario was a cherished uncle to Sandy, Marcus, and Don, and a proud great-uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Born in West Philadelphia to the late Domenick and Maria Piunti. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, and upon completing his military service, pursued his education, earning an Associate's Degree. Mario went on to work for Seles Corporation before joining the family business, Piunti and Company.
Mario was a member of the Moose Lodge and a participant in the Broomall String Band, where he shared his love for music and camaraderie.
Family and friends are invited to a Life Celebration on Wednesday, September 3rd at the Craft Givnish Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mario's memory may be made to Our Lady Help of Christians.
