Mark Becker, 63, passed away June 10, 2023. He was born in Indianapolis on May 1, 1960, to Noel and Phyllis Becker. Mark graduated from Spring Mill Elementary School, Northview Middle School and North Central High School, class of 1978. He earned his Associate's Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute and spent his career working as an Electronic Engineer Technician. He spent most of his working years at Fleming & Associates building components for airplane dashboards.
Mark grew up playing baseball and was given the nickname "The Homerun King" by his teammates. As his love for baseball continued, Mark became a lifelong fan of the Cincinnati Reds. He was a competitive dart player and won several tournaments. He developed a love for singing and playing the guitar, something for which he will always be remembered. He will also be remembered for his kind, loving, and generous spirit.
He was preceded in death by his father, Noel Becker. Mark is survived by his mother, Phyllis Becker; two sisters, Tammy Belt-Caldwell (John) and Annette Kreider; three nieces, Lauren Belt-Ketcham (Matthew), Amanda Sapp (Christopher), and Sophia Cenova; four great nieces; and two great nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation North Cemetery on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions can be made to the Charis Center for Eating Disorders.
