Marlene Katherine Nawrocik of Newtown, PA and formerly of Hamilton Township, NJ passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024 in the Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA. She was 84 years old.
Born in Trenton, NJ to the late Raymond and Helen (Ciebiera) Bearce, Marlene resided in Hamilton Township, NJ since 1978, before moving to Newtown, PA in February 2024.
She was a graduate of Hamilton West High School and later received her certification in computer technology. Marlene was a former bookkeeper with Friendly's Corporation, and worked at McGraw-Hill in Cranbury, NJ and Bell Telephone.
Marlene was an Avon Representative for 15 years and received many awards as a top sales representative. She was also a representative for Tupperware, Princess House and enjoyed entertaining, gardening, planting flowers, canning, interior design, fashion, decorating, music and dancing, and especially loved being outside in the sun surrounded by nature, with the wild birds and other animals. That was her ultimate delight.
She enjoyed her sorority meetings with her girlfriends from high school and was a provider for her family and friends.
She was the beloved wife of Carl F. Nawrocik of 61 years; devoted mother of Gregory Nawrocik (Nick Mynyk), Susan Moyer and John Nawrocik; dear sister of Ronald Bearce and wife June, Donald Bearce, and the late Raymond and Margaret Bearce; loving grandmother of Kelly Moyer and fiancé Ryan Santupe, Greg Moyer and Drew Moyer.
A viewing will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 am, with a service to begin at 11:00 am.
Private entombment for family will immediately follow in All Saints Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
