On November 24, 1972, Marsha Kim and Leslie Charles Spikes were united in Holy Matrimony. Marsha Kim was a devoted wife and loving mother of two children Kimberly Charmaine Spikes Crum and Leslie Anastasia Spikes Harvey.
She was a 1971 graduate of Bogalusa High School. After graduation she traveled the world with Charles and she attended Dillard University. She completed her degree at Southern University in New Orleans with a Bachelor's degree in elementary education.

On Saturday, March 9th, 2024 she passed away peacefully at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia with family at her side. She was affectionately known as "Mymy." She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Leslie Charles Spikes of Bogalusa, Louisiana; children Kimberly (Willie) Charmaine Spikes Crum and Leslie (Jabari) Anastasia Spikes Harvey of Atlanta, Georgia. Brothers; Kenneth Wayne (Hildra) Martin, Bruce Sampson, Raven Evans of Bogalusa, LA; Aunt Elmira Brown (Houston, TX); grandchildren Jada and Laila Harvey (Atlanta, GA) and William and Winston Crum (Atlanta, GA); brother in law Carl (Brenda) Spikes (Baton Rouge, LA); sister in laws Diane Wilson (Abita Springs, LA), Charlene Barnes (Lake Elsinore, California), Minnie Pearl Elliot (Inglewood, California); god children; Bridget Martin (Denham Springs, LA), Kayla (Lamont) Sampson (Tokyo, Japan), Rashad Smith (Bogalusa, LA); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Proverbs 31:26-31 "She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her;'Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.' Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate."
