Father Martin Cioppi was an incredible priest, son, brother, and friend. A devout follower of our Lord and savior, and a teacher to many, even non Catholics. He was a special person who touched many souls along the way. He was a people's priest. Father was a FB hit, posting his daily homilies and keeping us up to date with the saint of the day. I am witness to a non religious person, who came to me to tell me what he meant to her. He explained our faith in common language for all to understand. He broke down the complicated readings with words that connected to all. This is how Father lived his life, touching souls and doing it with compassion and conviction and a smile on his face. How many lives did he open to God's love? As for this person who came to me, she made a point to tell me that she made a donation to the Archdiocese. Thats how much Father C was loved. A complete stranger doing alms in his name. He will be missed. God speed our faithful servant and follower of Christ. Heaven is lucky to have you.. keep shining down upon us.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Msgr. Cioppi. He was in the seminary with my uncle Fr. Edmund Brennan. I had met him a couple times growing up when I was a little girl, when we would go to Ocean City. I know he was a dear friend of my uncle and a beautiful priest. He will be greatly missed. You all are in my prayers.
With much sympathy,

I was blessed as an alumni of Lansdale Catholic to meet and work with Fr. Cioppi on several fund raising projects. He became a wonderful, caring friend for many years. Everyone who met him, loved him. Lansdale Catholic was so lucky to have his leadership. Just an unbelievable loss for all of us. Rest in peace, dear Fr. Cioppi.

Fr. Cioppi baptized my grandson, Dominic DeMeuse. Our family is from Green Bay, WI. We flew out to PA to witness the baptism and spend time with our son's family for this special occasion. I remember being in Fr. Cioppi's rectory to celebrate afterwards. They say you only have one chance to make a first impression. He certainly did this and what a positive one it was. The extent of my personal contact with him was limited given our short stay in PA. Instantly, though, there seemed to be something different about him. He was so genuine, kind and very personable. He exuded such holiness and warmth and seemed to love his vocation as a priest very much. I have no doubt that he brought many souls closer to Christ! When our family heard of his passing, we were deeply saddened. In my heart, I know the Church has lost a great priest! Please know of our prayers for the repose of his soul and for all who mourn his loss. Some holy Masses will be offered for him at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay, WI

It was with great shock and sadness that we received the news about the passing of our beloved Pastor.

Fr. Cioppi was a great inspiration to our Parish and especially to me in my spiritual journey. His demeanor and kindness were exemplary - always with a smile on his face and a kind word on his lips! Serving at his Mass on Saturdays was the highlight of my week and will remain my fondest memories of him.

Fr. Cioppi, rest in peace! You may have left us but your legacy will live on.

My wife and I had the pleasure of cooking for Father when he first arrived at MDP. He quickly became a great friend and pastor to us. On June 12th, he celebrated a memorial mass for my wife, Roseann, who had recently passed away.we and all the parishioners at MDP are better people and are closer to God because of this holy priest. Rest in peace.

I knew Martin´s family years ago-especially his sister, Kathy. He was an absolutely wonderful priest and a thoroughly good man. Heaven certainly gained a new angel and his dear parents are thrilled to have Martin with them, but it is an absolutely terrible loss for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Sister Maggie Gannon, OSF

He was a wonderful man. I knew him from Lansdale Catholic as a student, to go on to have him marry my husband and I, he blessed our home and we even had the privilege of him at several sacraments for my kids. He will be greatly missed. He was Taken too soon.
