Phillip Geigert, 71, of Cheltenham, PA passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at his residence.

Phillip was born in Philadelphia, PA, on November 3, 1953. He was the youngest of four sons of the late Hattie (Koessl) and Elwood Geigert.

He worked as a dedicated Manager at CVS for many years and was retired for the past four years.

He was a devoted and loving father as well as grandfather. He loved spending time with his family which included looking after his granddaughter Harlow.

He was kind, and mild mannered. His sense of humor always persevered above everything else, even throughout the toughest of situations. He had countless stories of crazy events that he lived through. From the hijinks he got up to in his youth (like the incident on Champlost Ave) to the hijinks he got up to as an adult (tackling shoplifters at CVS).

He always had advice to give, and his knowledge was endless. He was capable of fixing anything with enough trips to Home Depot (it's never just one).

He lived his life the way that he wanted, and there is not a person on this Earth that could say otherwise. He had a calm and relaxed outlook on life. If there was one thing he could say right now it'd probably be: "it is what it is."

Phillip is survived by two daughters, Samantha Geigert of Drexel Hill, PA, Taylor Geigert (partner Bryon Anderson and granddaughter Harlow Anderson) of Quakertown, PA, and a son, Dylan Geigert of Cheltenham, PA.

Phillip is also survived by brothers John Geigert (Nicki), David Geigert (Debbie) and sister-in-law Cindy Geigert (wife of the late Dan Geigert). He is also remembered by his several nephews and nieces.

He was inspirational and his presence will be unimaginably missed by those who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family will be appreciated through the following venmo accounts:

Samantha Geigert (daughter) - SamG623

Taylor Geigert (daughter) - Taylor-Geigert

Dylan Geigert (son) - Dylan-Geigert

Services are private at the convenience of family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home. Condolences may be made at: www.mcgoldrickfh.com
