Marty Egert Obituary
Marty was born September 9, 1952 in Sterling, the daughter of John E. and Dolores E (Weigle) Hey. She married Robert Egert on December 29, 1973 in Sterling. Marty was co-owner and secretary of Renner Quarries, LTD.
Survivors include her husband Robert "Bob" Egert of Sterling, one daughter, Sara Egert of Portland, OR; one son Jakob (Magdaline) Egert of Sterling; one brother, Monty (Diane) Hey of Coleta and three grandchildren, Evangeline, John and Patrick Egert.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Michael, Mark and one in infancy.
Visitation will be Friday May 17, 2024 from 1-3 PM at the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Friday, following the visitation at the funeral home, with Pastor Jeff Coester officiating.
Marty was so deeply loved by all her family and friends.
A memorial has been established in her name.
