Mary J. Cecil, age 75 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
She was born on September 11 ,1949 in Cincinnati Ohio and was raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She went into nursing and became a CNA to help the elderly. She married her husband, David Cecil on June 27, 1981 and was the love of her life.
Survivors are her three cousins, Tina Dick, Jimmy Wilder, & Gene Wilder; son, Shawn Cecil; 4 grandkids, Dillon Ells, Jasmine Cecil, Christina Jackson, Addison Cecil; and great-grandbaby Xavier Flores and extended family Dana Brown, Michelle & family.
She loved her kitten, reading James Patterson books and her favorite shows were Big Bang Theory and Wrestling.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243. A celebration of Mary's life will be at 10am on Tuesday, February 25th at the funeral home, with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
