My mother was in Mary Kay's nursing class -the class of 1947. I believe they were the last two living classmates and they would talk up to the time that my mother passed in 2019 at age 93. She appreciated Mary Kay so much and they both were very sharp in mind and would communicate regularly about their lives and their classmates who had gone before them. I remember Mary Kay sent my mother pictures from the 1940s. She was so thankful to get them. It was really sweet to know that they were still communicating nearly 75 years after they were in school. Mary Kay was well respected and very conscientious and a generous lady.

I worked Bingo with Mary on Thursday nights. She was a very special lady. I missed her so much when she quit working the bingo. Now she will be with Ivan.
