Mary Lou Parish (80) of Hackett, Arkansas passed away on August 14, 2025, peacefully at Quail Ridge Living Center in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She was born on December 29, 1944, in Duncan, Oklahoma to William "Jink" and Edna Mayes.
She lived in the Mansfield, Hartford, Midland and Hackett area her entire life. She was a homemaker, farmer, gardener, animal caregiver and Certified Nurse Assistant for twelve years before retiring. She enjoyed talking about Jesus, attending church, painting, arts and crafts, singing, seeing her grandbabies and helping the community and her family.
She is survived by her two sons, James R. Johnson of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Bob and Stacy Johnson of Northwest, Arkansas, her sister Ann Noriego of Alma, Arkansas, her sister Glenda Hall of Hutchinson, Kansas, her brother Ronny Mayes of Mansfield, Arkansas, and lots of nephews and nieces all over the country. Mary Lou was born into a family with ten children.
She was preceded in death by her husband Steve Parish, her parents, and six brothers Jim, Doug, Tommy, Larry, Benny, and Rip.

108 Sebascott Ave, Mansfield, Arkansas 72944.
Visitations: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23 at Martin Funeral & Cremation Chapel.
Memorial services: 2:30 p.m. Saturday, August 23 at Martin Funeral & Cremation Chapel.
Graveside: 3:45 p.m. at the Mt. Olive Cemetery - Midland, AR.
Pallbearers include Jacob Rogers, Chris Holloway, Tim Kaylor, Chris Kaylor, Randy Lovell, Jarrett Magness, Ben Fisher, and Bob Johnson.
Arrangements are under the direction of Martin Funeral & Cremation – Mansfield.
