Maryann Curtze, age 87, of Wesleyville, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025. She was born in Wesleyville on April 19, 1938, daughter of the late John and Grace Tucker Smith.
Maryann was a graduate of Wesleyville High School and Penn State University. She worked as a paralegal in many law firms and volunteered at both Hamot and St. Vincent Hospitals, as well as various local organizations. Maryann enjoyed reading, bowling and time spent on the water boating. She was a member of Saint Peter Cathedral and the Garden Club.
Maryann is survived by three children, Tony Hokaj, Jean Nejman and Ronald Glas (Kelly); one brother, Billy Smith (Debbie); seven grandchildren, Richard, Kaitlyn, Hayley, Kearsten, Kelsey, Haiden and Kendall; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred F. Curtze; and three brothers.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Friday, November 7th, from noon until the time of the Funeral Service there at 2 pm. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elks Club #67, 2409 Peninsula Drive, Erie, PA 16506. Condolences may be sent to www.dusckasfuneralhomes.com.
