Maryann Prescott, age 67, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, passed away on February 9, 2025, at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. She was born on October 31, 1957, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to William Edward and Shirley L. Sabota (Young).
Maryann dedicated much of her life to nursing, where she touched many lives before retiring. She found great joy in spending time with her children, attending church, and showering love on her beloved furry companions. A devoted member of Eastland United Methodist Church in Fredericksburg, Maryann's faith and family were central to her life.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Sabota, and her father, William Sabota. Maryann is survived by her daughters, Stacie Koss (Daniel), Lauren Prescott, and Megan Prescott, as well as her son, William Prescott. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, extended family, and dear friends.
A funeral service to honor her life will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Eastland United Methodist Church in Fredericksburg.
