Matthew Cox Obituary
Matthew Aaron Cox, age 37, of Westerville, Ohio, was suddenly taken away from us on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. Matt was born March, 17 1987 in Columbus, Ohio to Greg and Joyce (McCotter) Cox.
He graduated from Big Walnut High School. Growing up he enjoyed working on his tractors, his trucks, and hanging out with his friends. He was an accomplished craftsman and enjoyed his work as a remodeling contractor.
Matt will be deeply missed by his Family.

His Sister Sharon Marie Rowan (Brother-in-law, Curtis John Rowan)
His Brother Greg Allen Cox
His nieces – Haley Macanas, Gracey Rowan, Kierstin Cox, Olivia Cox
His nephew CJ Rowan
His Aunts and Uncles (Wayne and Cherry Cox, Patricia Cox)
His dog Honey
And many other family members
Visitation will be Tuesday, July, 30th, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus, with Brother-in-law Curtis Rowan officiating with the prayer and family memories. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his children’s future (at the funeral service and/or to Greg Cox Sr.).
