Matty was the beloved son of Diane and Anthony Pennacchio. He is survived by his sister Renae Jensen and brother Louis Pennacchio; his nephews John, Christian and Corey Jensen, niece Heather Lucy and great nephew and niece Eric and Anna Lucy. Matthew grew up in Fairfield and attended West Essex High School.
Mat will be remembered by his love of his family, Harley Davidson motorcycles, cooking and his love of the Yankees. Even with the complications of a traumatic brain injury from 1974, Mat always had a smile, joke, and conversation ready to go. He loved a good cup of coffee, and truly taught us to live "in the moment".
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
