Tillson - Maureen Ann Hinsdale, 81, of Tillson (and a former long time resident of Hurley) died Wednesday November 13, 2024 at the Friedwald Center for Rehab and Nursing in New City, NY. She was born in Kingston August 21, 1943 a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Prehn Neer.
Maureen was a Kingston High School graduate and had been an operating room technician at Benedictine Hospital for 34 years until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, bowling, traveling with her sisters and spending time with her grandchildren.
Maureen was predeceased by her husband, William W. Hinsdale who died in 1975 and also by a sister Margaret Adams.
She is survived by a daughter Kimberly Reimann and her husband Patrick of Castleton, NY, a son, William C. Hinsdale of Tillson, two sisters, Diane Kasten of Rifton, Joan Dawson of Glenmont and a brother Robert Neer of Rifton.
Also survived by three grandchildren, William Reimann, Charles Reimann and Shawn Hinsdale.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday November 18 at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. (www.GJMoylanFuneralHome.com) Visitation at the funeral home begins 10 AM prior to the service. Rev. Arlene Dawber will officiate.
Interment will follow at the Rosendale Plains Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY and the Friedwald Center in New City, NY for the great care provided to Maureen.
