To the Morath family....I send my deepest condolences. I was a backup singer for six decades and one of my earliest gigs was going on the road with Dinah Shore, featuring Max and his group. They were so well received and such nice guys, it was a pleasure. May God comfort you now and in the days and years to come. Max was a delight. Love, Diana Lee, retired Girl Singer

I remember in the mid-1950's that I was a teenager living in Topeka, KS. My parents, brother and I took a trip to Colorado. One of the places that we visited was Cripple Creek. As part of that visit, we attended a performance by Max Morath. I was fascinated by the ragtime music and have been a fan ever since. One other time, I attended one of his performances. May this very talented man Rest In Peace.

I grew up in Colorado Springs and my family had businesses downtown. I remember Max well from my childhood. Often we would go to Cripple Creek to watch the melodrama where Max played. My Dad often talked about knowing Max. May Max's memory be a blessing.
