Maxene L. Hanson, 92, of Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas passed away May 12, 2023 with family by her side. She was born February 13, 1931 in Saint Paul, MN, to Berger and Edna (Ranum) Larson.
Maxene loved Jesus and her passion was to instill this same love for Christ in her children. She lived her life to the fullest, enjoying many hobbies and traveling to many places with family and friends. After graduating from St. Catherine's College with a degree in OT, she was employed by Cambridge Regional Human Services Center where she met the love of her life, Marvin Hanson in 1994.
Maxene was preceded in death by parents Berger and Edna Larson; and first husband Arthur Sieg.
Survived by husband Marvin Hanson; son David (Janet) Sieg; daughter Laurie (Galen) Lundgaard; son Dale (Lynn) Sieg; daughter Jackie (Philip) Preuss; step-daughter Cindy (Tom) Jacklen; 11 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; one great-great-grandchild; and special niece Tia Sieg.
A Celebration of Life will be Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 am at First Lutheran Church, 105 Village Rd., Hot Springs, AR with visitation starting one hour prior.
A second Celebration of Life will be Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11:00 am at C3 Church, W7562 USH 10, Ellsworth, WI with visitation starting one hour prior.
