Maximino Hernandez, 53, of Boling, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at his residence. He was born on March 29, 1971, in Cardenas, San Luis, Potosi, Mexico to Maximino and Paulina Delgado Hernandez.
Maximino was raised in Mexico. He was a landscaper by trade. Known as the life of the party, he enjoyed dancing, singing and listening to good music. His love of horses and rodeo also filled his life. When he wasn’t working or at a party, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Maximino is survived by his father, Maximino Hernandez, mother, Paulina Delgado Hernandez daughters, Martha Hernandez of El Campo, Selena Castillo and husband, Rogelio of El Campo and Mayra Hernandez of Houston, sons, Maximiliano Hernandez of Houston and Carlos Tavarez of Wharton, sisters, Juana Maria Gomez and husband, Arthur, Cecilia Maldonaldo and husband, Enrique, Veronica Hernandez and husband, Juan Carlos Fajardo, and Amparo Elizondo and husband, Roberto, brothers, Miguel Hernandez and wife, Rachael, Cresencio Hernandez and wife, Yessenia, Marcelino Hernandez and wife, Linda, Juan Antonio Hernandez and wife, Reyna, Victor Hernandez and wife, Angela, Jose Mares and wife, Alicia and Hector Mares and wife Teresa, grandchildren, Jonathan Castillo, Vanessa Castillo, Marilyn Castillo, Elena Tavarez and Nyelie Tavarez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, after 5 pm at the Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home with rosary recited at 7 pm. Funeral Mass and the Rite of Committal will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 10 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Wharton with Rev. Antonio Perez celebrating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton.
Funeral services are under the direct supervision of Wharton Funeral Home. Condolences may be left at whartonfuneralhome.com
