Michael Charles Leone

Michael Charles Leone, age 55, of Fleming Island, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on June 23, 2025. Born to Kenneth and Mary Ann Leone, Michael pursued a life of ever-expanding curiosity and service.
Graduating from Choctawhatchee High School in 1988, the University of Florida in 1992, and the University of West Florida in 1994. He dedicated his career to the innovation of computer systems, traveled the world as a leader in the industry and most recently contributed to significant technological advancement as the director of an incubation start-up with Lenovo. His commitment to excellence produced a professional legacy that helped reshape our modern age.
A lifelong learner, athletic enthusiast, and Florida Gator, Michael enjoyed organized sports like basketball, soccer, hockey, and golf, but was also an outdoorsman, finding joy and purpose in the beauty of the natural world. His love of hiking provided him the splendor of the Yosemite Valley from Half Dome while his penchant for fishing led him from the quiet backwaters of Northern Florida to the rocky shores of Costa Rica.
Michael is survived by his loving children Isabella, Enzo, and Sofia, as well as parents Kenneth and Mary Ann Leone, and siblings Susan (Adam) and Jonathan (Stephanie). Michael also leaves behind adoring nieces and nephews, Samantha, Jennifer, Lia, Garrett and Ben. Additionally, Michael is survived by extended family, Tim and Stefannie Godfrey, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
His legacy of kindness, generosity, and strength lives on in those who knew and loved him. A public celebration of life will be held by the family at Clubhouse Grill, Fort Walton Beach, FL, July 11, 6:30pmto 9:30pm.
