Michael Rene Rojas

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael "Rene'" Rojas, who left us on February 11, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on November 23, 1966, Rene' was a loving son, brother, colleague, and friend whose presence brought light into the lives of all who knew him.
Rene' was an exceptional athlete, known for his dedication, skill, and competitive spirit. His love of sports and commitment to excellence were matched only by his kindness and generosity toward others. He attended St. Matthew's for grade school and later graduated from Brophy College Preparatory, where he built lasting friendships and fond memories.
For many years, Rene' worked in the Washington School District, where his hard work, passion, and caring nature left a lasting impact on his colleagues and peers. His work in education was a testament to his belief in helping others. Rene' was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Rojas. He leaves behind his father, Michael M. Rojas, and his stepmother, Rhonda Rojas. He is also survived by his siblings: Anthony Rojas, Rose Rojas, Matthew Rojas, Gabriel Rojas, and Krista Broadstreet, as well as his beloved fur baby, Missy Mo.
Rene' will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched with his generosity, spirit, love, and being an all-round stand-up guy. Always in our memories and hearts Ne'.
