Michael Shinder Obituary
A graduate of the University of Buffalo, Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Barbara Shinder. He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Shinder.
A graveside service will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, 738 Oak, Birmingham, Monday, July 29th, 2024, at 10am. All are welcome to attend. For those who cannot attend, you may watch via livestream here.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to World Central Kitchen, PIME Missionaries, or the charity of the donor's choice.

When Michael owned the Big Chill ice cream store in Birmingham, at various times, he employed 3 of my 4 children. They learned a lot from him. He was patient with teenagers. Meeting Deb kept him from becoming a crotchety old bachelor. They were good together.
Rest in Peace, Michael.
