Michael Ray Warner of Holt, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2024 due to multiple strokes and falls. Born on October 4, 1950 to Raymond and Norma Jean Warner, Michael spent his childhood years growing up in the Haslett/Williamston area. He graduated from Haslett High School class of 1968. His passions included horses, 4H events, living at the Warner homestead, a good cup of coffee, and of course his family.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sally Warner (Stott), children, Tracy (Lori) Warner, Leslie (Robert) Goddard, Cindy (Art) Crable, Lisa Walsh, Josh (Jolene) Warner, and Abigail (Chris) Austin, his 13 adoring grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, with another one on the way, his siblings, Mark (Sue) Warner, and Pam Hosseini, his best friends and chosen family, Tim and Judy Nichols, Gary and Candy Howe, Rob and Michelle Keckler, and his mother in law, Gladys Noble.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Cynthia Warner, father in law, Ellis Noble, brothers in law, Martin Stott and Jerry Hoard, and niece, Jaime Kerley.
Always industrious, Michael worked multiple jobs to pay for the whims of his children. That included coming home with ponies, horses, dogs, guinea pigs, cows, and chickens. Somehow he always made it work!
Sally was able to honor his request to pass at home which was a testament to their dedication to work together through even the hardest battles. There will be no services taking place per Mike and Sally's request.
