Michael Dewayne Williams was born August 22, 1960 in Ft. Hood, Texas. He was received into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 15, 2024. Mike is preceded in death by his mother Janette Wright Williams and his father Samual Benjamin Williams as well his older brother Sam Williams.
Mike is survived by his sons Gage Murski Williams,Hudson Wright Williams and Blake Lee Taylor.
Mike was known for his outgoing personality, and he never met a stranger. Mike was a hard worker and would volunteer for any project where he thought he could be of service. Mike woke up before the roosters and worked until exhaustion on most days as a younger man. When Mike wasn't physically working, he was "working that phone". Mike liked keeping in touch with his kids (and all of their friends!) old buddies and work contacts, and of course the many doctors who had performed countless surgical procedures on him.
Mike was so very proud of his sons and was quick with an endearing story about them. Mike loved Glen Rose, PRCA Rodeo, the ranches where he worked over the last twenty plus years, and cooking up a giant pot of taco soup or barbecuing a brisket for the neighbors. We will miss Mike's endless energy and his generosity. May God rest Mike's soul and give him eternal comfort and peace.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make you paths straight
