Millie Fry

Mildred Mae Fry, age 94, of Royal Oak, passed away on March 29, 2026. She was born on April 25, 1931, in Hazel Park, Michigan, to James and Mary Oglesby.

Millie was raised in Hazel Park and graduated from Hazel Park High School. Professionally, she worked as a secretary in the Royal Oak Public School System, primarily at Kimball High School. She was also a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and remained strong in her faith throughout her life.

Millie was a caring and devoted person who was always willing to help others. Her family was the center of her life, especially her children and grandchildren. She was deeply devoted to her grandchildren and remained closely involved in their lives. She will be dearly missed.

Millie was the beloved wife of the late Robert; loving mother of Jeff (Tresa) Fry, Diane Fry, Linda Fry, and the late Audrey Fry; proud grandmother of David, Chris (Lisa), Jamie (Sarah), Lynn, Tyree, Daniel (Emily), and Thomas; and great-grandmother of Felix, Oliver, Galen, Noah, and Callie.

Visitation for Millie will be held on Saturday, April 4, from 12:00 p.m. until time of service, 1:00 p.m., at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Directors, 705 W. Eleven Mile Rd. (four blocks east of Woodward), Royal Oak.
