Nancy Irene Hohman, age 79 years, passed away Sunday morning, February 2, 2025 at the Holiday Winter Village Senior Living in Frankenmuth. She was born on July 19, 1945 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Shurley and Helen (Damm) McIntyre. On November 2, 1963 she was united in marriage to Robert J. Hohman and after 55 years together he preceded her in death on October 29, 2018. Nancy was a Ward Clerk at Saginaw General Hospital where she worked for several years. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Vassar. Nancy enjoyed quilting and had a talent for painting, but by far her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren.
Surviving family include her children, Robin Sue Waldie and Michael Robert (Rachel) Hohman; grandchildren, Jacob (Shianne) Hohman, Abigail Hohman, Joshua Waldie, Conrad Waldie, Joshua (Courtney) Jacobs, Dustin (Samantha) Jacobs and Codi (Brianna) Jacobs; great-grandchildren, Dustin Jacobs Jr., Emma Jacobs, Trevor Jacobs, Ellie Hohman, Luke Hohman, Emmitt Jacobs, Clayton Jacobs and Caroline Jacobs; sister, Margo McIntyre; brother, Paul McIntyre as well as many nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Patrick McIntyre and Sharon McIntyre.
Cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place at Tuscola Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider the First Baptist Church of Vassar.
