Nathan Elliott Barrow

Nathan Elliott Barrow, age 36, passed away at home on October 19, 2024.
Nathan attended Central High School, studied IT/Computer Networking while in the U.S. Navy (2009-2011/John C. Stennis in Bremerton, WA), and studied Architectural Drafting at Pellissippi State. He worked as a cook at Chili's Restaurant for 10+ years and most recently at Red Robin.
Nathan was the most genuine, kind, and honest young man whom everyone loved. He was very talented at drawing and loved sketching. Nathan enjoyed being outside as much as possible and spent many hours viewing the scenery in his backyard. He enjoyed music (especially Jelly Roll), reading, sketching, and most of all, spending time with his daughters, Chloe and Penelope. He loved family, and he loved his daughters with all his heart. He would want them to remember all the smiles, laughs, bedtime stories, and park visits that they shared.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilmer and Rebecca Barrow of Dover, TN; uncle, Randy Simerly; and stepfather, David Weltner.
Nathan is survived by his daughters, Chloe (9) and Penelope (4) Barrow; parents, Lorrie Weltner and Rick Barrow (stepmother, Kathryn); grandmother, Phyllis S. Simerly; brothers, Derrick Barrow and Madison "Maddy" Weltner; sister, Reagan Weltner; stepbrothers, Andrew (Julia) Rickard and Graham Rickard; uncle, Kenny Simerly (Terri) of Friendsville, TN; uncle, Mike Barrow of Simpsonville, SC; and several loving great aunts, great uncles and cousins.
The family would like to give special thanks to Heather Cupp of the VA who was a most compassionate advocate and supporter.
There will be a visitation on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel from 4:00-6:00pm with a service to follow at 6:00pm, Frits Havercamp of Northside Christian Church officiating.
