In Loving Memory of Nathan Keven Oaks

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nathan, a beloved son, brother, and friend. He left this world far too soon, at the tender age of 34, on September 30, 2023.

Nathan was born on October 28, 1988, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to loving parents Tammy Bush and Keven Oaks. From a young age, he showed a remarkable zest for life, a passion for adventure, and an unwavering commitment to his loved ones, and was a gentle soul.

In his spare time, Nathan was an avid gamer, loved to scooter, and loved anything outdoors, he loved nature. He found solace in nature's beauty and often embarked on adventurous journeys, which allowed him to explore the world and make lasting memories.

Nathan is survived by his loving family, including: his mother, Tammy Bush; father, Keven Oaks, stepfather, Lance Bush;  siblings, Stephanie Oaks; Jessica Bush (Johhny); Angela Bush; Alex Bush; Allison Matthews; Christoper Oaks; Braylee Oaks; and Garrett Oaks. Nathan was a doting uncle to Evelynn Rose Bush and Killian John Aguilos. He is also survived by his grandparents, Jerry and Bonnie Averett; and his grandma, Elva Oaks Green, along with a multitude of extended family members and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Nathan was preceded in death by his grandma Audrey (Gaumie) Bush, and uncle, Jeffrey Averett.

An 11:00 am graveside service will take place on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Hurricane City Cemetery, 255 East 600 North in Hurricane, Utah. Following the service, there will be an Open House & Celebration of Life at the home of Tracy Gardner, 2430 East 160 South, in St. George, Utah

Nathan may have left this world at a young age, but his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to shine brightly through those whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A warrior's spirit to the very end,

Waged war on addiction and he did not bend,

He never gave up and stayed true to his heart,

He fought and he battled, he did his part,

And then came the light, at the end of that hell,

It showed up with angles, rainbows, and bells.

Freed from shackles and in came the dove and wrapped him in love from heaven above.

Love you to infinity and beyond.
